Indemnity. - Public officers, employees, and agents of government agencies shall be indemnified for liabilities, losses, claims, demands, damages, deficiencies, costs, and expenses of whatever king and nature that may arise in connection with the exercise of their powers and performance of their duties and functions in the implementation of the provisions of this Act, unless their actions are found to be in willful violation of this Act, or performed in bad faith or with gross negligence.
