Strengthening and Expansion of the Electric Power Industry Management Bureau in the Department of Energy. The DOE shall strengthen and expand the Electric Power Industry Management Bureau (EPIMB) for the effective implementation of this Act. The new organizational structure and staffing complement for the EPIMB shall be determined by the DOE Secretary, in consultation with the Department of Budget and Management, and in accordance with existing civil service rules and regulations. The budgetary requirements shall be taken from the current appropriations of the DOE. Thereafter, the funding for the expanded EPIMB shall be included in the annual GAA.
