Insurance Coverage and Occupational Safety and Health Standards. - An enterprise implementing an EBET Program which belongs to a medium or high-risk industry, as determined by the DOLE, shall provide trainees with appropriate life and/or accident insurance policy, free of charge.
Standards of occupational safety and health under Republic Act No. 11058 or "An Act Strengthening Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards and Providing Penalties for Violations Thereof" shall likewise be observed in all EBET Programs.
